Wanda (Gibbons) Eaton

Wanda June Eaton, 89, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at St. Vincent hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in June 14, 1936 in Saline City, Indiana to the late Henry and Dollie (Brown) Gibbons. Wanda graduated from St. Mary of the Woods and worked for Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Cloverleaf Healthcare, St. Vincent Clay Hospital, and the Brazil Times. She married Arthur Eaton on September 8, 1984. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband; son, James Wells, Jr; sisters, Helen Higgins, Shirley Gibbons, and Ruth Lueckel; brothers, Donald Gibbons, Kenneth Gibbons, Jake Gibbons, Gerald Gibbons, and Henry Gibbons.

Survivors include her son, Kevin Griffith.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
